ESF Hillside is part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF), Hong Kong’s largest provider of English-medium international education. ESF’s network of 22 schools brings out the best in every student through a personalised approach to learning and by inspiring curious minds.
ESF Hillside (formerly known as ESF Sheung Wan) was the first of the ESF kindergartens to be established, and it was founded in 1999 in Sheung Wan.
When the kindergarten moved to Stubbs Road in 2010 and received the name “Hillside,” which it bears today, it was a major milestone. Hillside is double the size of the Sheung Wan site, providing 3,000 square feet of space on two floors and catering to 390 families.
Hillside offers an English-medium education for K1 and K2 children aged 3 to 5 in an open-planned setting. The kindergarten is an IB World School authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB) to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education—that we believe is essential for our children.
We are committed to building a strong partnership with our parents at Hillside. Our dedicated staff know our children well, and we pride ourselves on the positive relationships we build with every child and their families.
